Questions For Your Temple Tour Ed Decker
This has been written primarily for the Mormon Temple (Information Center) visitor, and visitors to new Temple openings. The smoothly professional presentation of Mormonism is a true work of art and skill. Unfortunately, it is not a work of truth, but carries a glaze of deception. What the Visitor sees is the story of Mormonism rewritten, with his vision clouded over by the distaste of "hard to deal with" facts, which, in fact, destroy the whole basis of its claims. The writer hopes that the LDS church member also reviews this work. It is to their salvation that our lives and ministry are dedicated. The scriptures show wherein the fault lies: "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed." Isaiah 9:6 The items herein deal with facts that are often very harsh by their own nature. We ask, in advance, for forgiveness from our Mormon loved ones, but again, point to the scriptures: "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops." Luke 12:2-3. We hope that you, the Mormon Temple Visitor, will break past the memorized messages of a controlled "experience" and ask some pertinent questions of your hosts. Read through this booklet and ask some real questions today! VISITORS' CENTER The Angel Moroni is so highly revered that he adorns many temple tops. He even now is on the gravestones of LDS Servicemen, and is the perfect LDS example of the pure-hearted man of God. But Mormon doctrine teaches that angels are those who do not receive the "fulness of the Celestial reward" but are given the lower position of ministering to those who do become gods (and even to those who don't!). Where did he fail, and why is a failure so revered? Is isn't it probable that Moroni doesn't even hold the Melchizedek priesthood? Joseph Smith described him as bare-chested (no temple garments!). "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."Galatians 1:8 A great deal of the Visitor Center program will deal with the Restoration of the "lost Gospel." Much is made of the 300-400 Christian churches that have grown out of the first century "Church." Yet today there are approximately 140 Mormon (or Josephite) churches. If Mormonism had been around as long as orthodoxy, it would have splintered approximately 1865 times into separate groups! Most Christian groups freely worship together. Yet all of the Mormon groups each claim unique and divine authority for themselves and exclude all others. Talk to your guides about this. "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." Luke 1:32-33. The "Martyrdom" of Joseph Smith As you listen to the story of the Martyrdom of Joseph Smith, sealing his testimony (of the Book of Mormon) with his blood, you might ask the guide why the story fails to mention that Joseph Smith died in a gun battle, killing two men and wounding a third, as official church records show. (History of the Church, 6:616-618) You might also discuss the real reason he was in the Carthage Jail. The true issue of his arrest was actually out of a public accusation of adultery and heresy against Smith and his burning down of the press that printed the charge. His accusers were hardly men without merit! They were Austin Cowles, First Counselor to Joseph Smith, and William Law, his Second Counselor! Stephen was a true martyr."And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep." Acts 7:59-60. THE PRIESTHOOD RESTORED? As you hear the story of the visit of John the Baptist, ask the guide, "Where did John the Baptist get his authority?" We are told that he "restored" the Aaronic Priesthood to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery, yet he never held the priesthood on Earth! He wore animal skins (unclean), ate honey and locusts (unclean), and baptized people (not a Levitical duty). Did he receive it after being beheaded? How? Mormonism teaches it is only given by laying on of hands. A physical act? Impossible. Is this lack of authority by John the Baptist the reason why Joseph and Oliver re-baptized and re-ordained each other after John left? Or didn't he do it right the first time? "Jesus Christ, the same, yesterday, and today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8. As your guide shares the beauty of the baptismal font (for the dead) resting on 12 golden oxen, you will learn the each ox represents one of the 12 tribes of Israel. Ask your guide which of the 12 tribes have been "disenfranchised" now that the fonts in the smaller temples rest on only six oxen and a mirror will be used to "create" the other six. Ask your guide to clearly delineate between the offices and functions of a Prophet, Seer, and Revelator. Ask how Joseph Smith functioned in each, separately ask for some examples. Ask for a list of his prophecies! Do the same for Brigham Young. Do the same for the current prophet. Ask for a list of his prophecies to test, his revelations to review, and samples of his talent as a Seer! Ask the same about the current prophet! It will draw a blank and that should tell you a lot about what you are dealing with here. "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" Hebrews 1:1-2 Since it was through his Seer Stone, the Urim and Thummim, and the Breastplate that Joseph worked his office, where are those devices today? If the prophet today doesn't have them, how can he operate his office? If he doesn't need them, why did Joseph Smith have to use them? Joseph Smith as Sorcerer's Apprentice? Ask your guide why, if God condemns magic and sorcery, did Joseph Smith and many early church leaders practice magic and astrology according to highly respected LDS historians like Michael Quinn. Ask why the older statue of the angel Moroni that was full of occult and Masonic markings was removed from Temple Square after LDS historian Reed Durham drew attention to it. Joseph Smith "worked" an Occultic Jupiter Talisman that he called his "Masonic Jewel." He carried it with him always. It was on his person when he died. Ask to see the Talisman or at least a picture of this very key item in Joseph Smith's life. "There shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a, or a charmer or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD; and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee."óDeut.18:10-12. How on earth could Joseph Smith run three miles and carry the Gold Plates under his arm. They had to weigh well over 200 pounds (plates were 7"x8îx6îóGold weighs 1204.7 pounds per cubic foot). You should ask your guide, "If Elohim and his many wives have bodies of flesh and bone as tangible as ours, why do they beget spirit children who grow up “without bodies'?" "God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth." John 4:24. Do The Mormons Believe That Jesus and Lucifer Are Brothers? Mormon Apostles and Prophets have taught that Jesus is the brother of Satan; that he became Savior only after His plan of Salvation was approved by a vote of a council of the Gods; that He was begotten in the flesh (sexually) by Elohim (who is an exalted man); that Jesus was married to the sisters of Lazarus and to Mary Magdelene; and converted water to wine at one of His own weddings; that his wives and children were present at his Crucifixion. Ask your guides if they are in agreement with those teachings? Ask for references in the Bible or Book of Mormon"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen." Rom.1:21-25 Ask your guide if he actually believes that God (Elohim) is not capable of creating matter. Did He (and Jehovah and Michael) just organize the Earth and planets from space debris? Could Elohim's God create something from nothing? How about the God over that God? Can the LDS "Head of the Gods" (their first God) create something out of nothing? By the way, if all Gods must first evolve from being righteous men, where did the first God come from? (Journal of Discourses, vol.6, pp.1-11) "Tell ye, and bring them near; yea let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? Who hath told it from that time? Have not I the LORD? And there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none else beside m. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else." Isaiah 45:21-22. When the Mormons came out to Utah, what percent of the Church membership stayed behind with Joseph Smith’s wife and family? Why? President Ezra Taft Benson taught that a prophet is above scientific fact and if there is a discrepancy, we will find the prophet correct, and the scientific fact in error. Joseph Smith said that the earth had knobs on each end; that the Ten Lost Tribes and the apostle John were living in a tropical land adjacent to the North Pole separated by a high mountain range. You might suggest that the Mormons fly an expedition to the knob at the north end and fly over the mountain to visit our long lost brothers. Joseph Smith also taught that men live on the moon, dressed like Quakers, are about six feet tall and live to be a thousand years old. Does your guide believe this? "Let them alone: they be leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." Mt.15:4. Brigham Young went further, to say that men also live on the sun; that gold, silver and rocks grow. He wanted to build the Salt Lake Temple out of sandstone blocks and let them mature into the harder granite. Does your guide actually agree with him? The LDS church claims to have today's "One, True Prophet" even as Moses was a true prophet. They will tell you the only true church must line up with the Old Testament scriptures exactly, in this matter. If that is true, you might ask them where their Prophetess is, even as Miriam was a prophetess (Exodus 15:20). You might ask someone why all of the three witnesses and five of the eight witnesses to the Book of Mormon left the Church. And what caused seven of the original twelve LDS Apostles to leave the Church? "While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled."John 17:12 ETERNAL PROGRESSION? While being shown the "Happiness is Family Home Evening" and "Families are Forever" stories, ask your guide why it is that only half of the Mormons are active. And only half of those have their Endowments, and less than half of them are presently worthy (hold recommends) to return to the temple, and only half of those who are worthy actively participate in the Temple programs. Doesn't that work our to about an 85% to 90% failure rate? If your guide is a lady, you could ask her if she is looking forward to being constantly pregnant through all eternity? Ask her if this is really her idea of eternal reward. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."óMatt.11:29-30. You might ask her how she, as a "Heavenly Mother," will enjoy having one-third of her billions of spirit children turn their backs on her and her husband and become demons. What will she feel like when she has to watch as her first-born and most beloved son gets tortured and murdered on a cruel cross? If your guide is a man, you might ask him about the prospect of spending all eternity trying to keep peace between many wives and millions of spirit babies? Ask him if he's having any trouble always being attentive to just one wife and a few children in the midst of all his priesthood duties. Imagine what it would be like to keep all of those wives pregnant and children happy and attend to the prayer and material needs of an entire planet-full of people. Point out that many Mormon elders can barely get their home teaching done on time! Does this sound like "rest unto your souls" to him? Ask him the above question about losing a third of his children to perdition and his eldest son to crucifixion. When you sign the guest books, first ask the attendant if signing the guest book means that missionaries will visit your home (it does). Ask if the missionaries will answer the questions you can't get answered here. Ask the attendant one of the questions you can't get answered!"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves." Matt.23:15
BOOK OF MORMON "ARCHAEOLOGY" If the Book of Mormon story really took place, why can't anyone find a single clue--even just one of the 38 major cities it describes? If your guide says that proof exists, ask for the exact city and the exact location. Why is it that every DNA study points to people groups that do not have any Jewish DNA, but that of the migrating people through the Alaska/Asia crossings groups. One of the most popular 'Information Center' pictures is the one with Jesus visiting the "Americas." He is standing in front of two Temples. Yet, the two Temples (El Castillo and El Caracol) were built approximately 1000AD almost 600 years after the Nephite Era! Ask your guide why they knowingly misrepresent this "example" of Book of Mormon Archaeology. "Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips" Rom.3:13 The Mormons make much about their "UNPAID" ministers. They point this out as a sign of the True Church. Much is implied about Christian pastors and churches taking money for their work. Yet, the LDS Missionaries are now classified by the IRS as "Paid Ministers" and the LDS General Authorities are among the best paid executives in the world. The LDS Church receives a vast income in tithes and offerings from its people. Their business wealth makes it among the largest corporations in the US! Their corporate ownerships are like a mammoth secret web of dummy corporations and interlocking directorates. Ask your guide to reconcile that to you. You might also mention that Christian pastors and church groups report their total income, and expense to the people regularly. When was the last time a full, financial report was released by the LDS Church? What do they have to hide?"For God shall bring every work unto judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil."Ecclesiastes 12:14
THE TEMPLE Where is the Cross Displayed here? Colossians 2:14 says that Christ took the laws and ordinances that were against us, and nailed them to His Cross. When He said, "It is finished," upon the Cross--the Temple Veil was rent as the first response to His death. Hebrews 10:20 tells us that His broken body represents the removal of the Veil and is our entry into the Holiest. (I Corinthians 1:18) Why then does the Mormon Temple contain a Veil? Why must the Temple Mormon learn secret names, signs and tokens which he/she must use at the Veil to enter into God's presence? Ask your guide to explain the secret markings on the Veil. Ask him why the Veil has slots cut into it that are the Masonic L Square and the Masonic V Compass? Ask your guide if he is aware that the upside down star, prominent around the Salt Lake Temple is, actually a Satanic Symbol known as the GOAT'S HEAD or BAPHOMET!"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." Eph.5:11. Why are locks and keys necessary in the Temple locker rooms, where only "Gods and Goddesses in embryo," who have been interviewed and found worthy, are permitted to enter? While hearing about the Sacred 'Temple Marriages' performed at this Temple, you won't hear much about the 'Temple Divorces." Ask your guide how many Temple Divorces are recorded each year. It is quite a number. What part does Joseph Smith's membership and high degree in Freemasonry play in setting up and almost identical Mormon Ritual just months after his Mormon Masonic lodge had its charter revoked? Because they know all the signs, tokens, and penalties, will the Masons get into the Celestial Kingdom also? "The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." Rom.13:12 You might ask your guide to discuss the amazing similarity between the "Washing and Anointing," the blood oaths, sacred garments, Holy Priesthood and burning in the bosom testimony of Mormonism and the Babylonian cult deifying Nimrod. The Mormon Church spends untold millions of dollars on baptism for the dead. They use the only reference in the Bible (which is in the "third person"). (I Corinthians 15:29) Yet the historical evidence in the matter shows the practice to be cultic. Ask about this. Where were the baptismal fonts for the dead in Solomon's Temple or ANYWHERE is Jesus' doctrine? "Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do." 1 Tim.1:4 While it has now been removed after we revealed it to the world, the Temple Ceremony had portrayed the Protestant Minister as a dimwitted, but willing hireling of Satan. If you are a Christian visitor, how do you feel about your pastor being portrayed to every Mormon Temple attendee as "owned and operated by Lucifer?" Ask the guide about this characterization. The purpose of the original Aaronic Priesthood was strictly to preside in the Temple performing animal sacrifices and related ritual duties. Joseph Smith taught that this sacrifice always was a part of the Priesthood and always will be! Ask your guide where in this Temple do the Restored Aaronic Priesthood holders perform animal sacrifices at an altar? "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."
2 Corinthians 6:14-17. THE TEMPLE RITUAL Ask your guide about their "New Name." Why is it given in such secrecy to each individual, yet it is always the same male or female name (or its alternate) for everyone throughout the day. Why is the wife forbidden to know her husband's "New Name" yet he must know hers? And what happens if she should ever learn his secret name? Why must all LDS women cover their faces when they pray to God in the Temple? Why aren't the women who go to the Temple to be married for 'Time and Eternity' told that when the swear the oath of obedience to the Law of the Priesthood that it is speaking of polygamy? (Doctrine and Covenants 132). Are they instructed that they will actually be only the first wife of many their husband will get in the Celestial kingdom, or here on earth, if Elohim should change his mind again! "Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven." Matt.22:29-30. Ask your guide why the Temple Mormon wife isn't instructed that she can only be resurrected if her husband calls her forth from the grave? What if he doesn't want her? What if he "falls away" and becomes a Baptist? How will she get out of the grave then? Ask how can you keep the New and Everlasting Covenant, and not be damned (D&C 132:1-4) without being a polygamist? When the official doctrines on plural marriage were removed from the Temple covenants in the 1920's, this resulted in a change in the text of the Covenant of Chastity given in the Endowment, which indicated that the only sinful sexual activities were heterosexual. In 1973, this was changed to also forbid today's sexual perversions, such as homosexuality. Ask your guide if, in the light of this, all those temple Mormons who were practicing perversions during those decades were truly worthy of attending the temple. Did the moral standards of the temple change in 1973? Did the LDS God really goof and allow his church prophets to permit such an error? If God truly speaks to the Mormon prophet, why had six prophets come and gone without noticing and correcting this obvious omission? Why did it take some troublesome questions by a newly endowed Elder to have the covenant rectified? IS LUCIFER THE MORMON'S TEMPLE GOD? In the Endowment, Lucifer is portrayed as having a "white and delightsome" body of flesh and bone. He even touches Eve's hand with his own in a little pat as he hands her the forbidden fruit. Yet Mormon doctrine teaches that Lucifer was denied a flesh and bone body of any color; and indeed that the way to tell any evil spirit is that such spirits cannot really touch you physically (D&C 129, especially v.8). Only those faithful in the pre-existent state will get tangible, white bodies according to LDS teaching. If anything, Lucifer should be portrayed as a black man! Also, later in the Endowment, Peter the apostle is represented as coming down from Elohim in a body of flesh and bone. He shakes hands with Lucifer and then gives the secret grip to identify himself to Adam as one having authority. This is also impossible, since according to LDS teaching, a righteous spirit would never attempt to shake hands (D&C 129:5-6) and Peter would not have received a body of flesh for another 4,000 years! Ask your guide why the Endowment teaches such puzzling doctrinal errors? In the "Holy Temple," of all places, shouldn't correct LDS theology be presented? Ask your guide why the Temple Mormons, in the Endowment, continue to wear the green fig-leaf apron which Lucifer inspired and God rejected? In the garden sequence of the Temple Ceremony, the participants listen to Lucifer teach Mormon doctrine as he says there is no other way to gain knowledge than to disobey Father and eat the fruit. Adam learn that the Apron Lucifer wears symbolizes Satan's power and Priesthoods. The Participants all place these aprons on as Lucifer directs Adam and Eve to put them on. The Aprons are worn throughout the entire Endowment, and this emblem of Lucifer covers both the sacred garment and the robes of the LDS "Holy Priesthood." Why would anyone wear an Apron that is the emblem of Satanic power and priesthoods? Later in the Ceremony, the initiates raise their arms and chant "Pay Lay Ale" three times. They are told these were the exact syllables Adam prayed. The Hebrew translation of these words can either be "Marvelous False god" or "Marvelous True God.î When Adam prayed, he believed what Lucifer taught and wore the Apron Lucifer said to wear. It's no wonder Lucifer-the "god of the World"-answered! (Mormons often say there are many gods, but the only one they worship is the god of this world!)If you are still not sure if they prayed to the false god or the True God, did you know that the chant has been changed? Until just before 1930, they chanted "Pale hale hale" or Pale ale ale." What a coincidence! The direct Hebrew translation of "Pele Heylel" is "Marvelous Lucifer." Where is the Biblical or historical support for wearing the Mormon magic underwear? What do the secret markings on them mean? Why does it no longer have power when the secret Masonic marking are cut out? Isn't this more the working of an occultic Talisman? Where are the references for this Secret Underwear in the Standard Works? "Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart and prophesy thou against them. And say, Thus saith the LORD God; Woe to the women that sew pillows to armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?"óEzek.13:17-19.Early Mormon prophets established full-length secret "garments." They were ìtold by God" to wear them as "Heî (God) designed them. Where is the Revelation giving the authority to shorten them as they are today? Is the LDS God a slave to fashion? "And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to every pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god." Amos 2:8. In the Temple ceremony, Elohim curses Lucifer to crawl on his belly and eat dust forever, and to have his head crushed. Lucifer arrogantly defies Elohim to his face, goes about his business and overcomes his curse, since he never changes his conduct or bodily function. What kind of God is Elohim, anyway? Is his son, Lucifer, that much stronger than he? "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him." Matt.4:10-11. After Adam is cast out of the Garden, he builds and altar, lifts his arms above his head and calls upon God three times saying, "Oh God, hear the words of my mouth." Yet Lucifer answers and says, "I hear you, what is it you want?" Adam asks, "Who are you?” and Lucifer replies "I am the God of this world." How can this be? Is Lucifer the Mormon God? You might ask your guide to recount his/her own personal first time reaction to standing there with a hundred other people dressed in strange caps, veils, aprons, girdles, robes and slippers chanting "Pay Lay Ale" with hands going up and down. BLOODY OATHS? If your guide is over 70 years old, it is probable that they took out their own Endowment prior to several key changes in the Temple rites. Ask them if they first went through the Temple prior to the 1930's. If they did, ask them if they are still bound by the Mormon Oath of Vengeance which was a regular part of the ritual then. The oath basically has the patron swear to call upon heaven daily to curse the United States of America in vengeance for the deaths of Joseph and Hyrum Smith. The majority of the older General Authorities must still be bound by that oath, and it was to be taught to their grandchildren and great-grandchildren óat least according to the Mormon God. " But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Matt.5:44-45. Ask your guide to demonstrate the execution of the penalty for the first token of the Aaronic Priesthood. It is done by placing the thumb under the left ear, the palm down, and by drawing the thumb quickly across the throat to the right ear, the palm down, and by dropping the hand to the side. (If the guide is reluctant to do it, you might want to demonstrate it for him). This represents having your throat slit from ear to ear (and used to include having your tongue ripped out, too). It is called a blood oath and came just after swearing obedience to the Law of Sacrifice (all that you have including you own lives, if necessary, for the building up of the Kingdom of God--Mormonism). "But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." Matt.5:34-37. Ask your guide for any justification for such a pagan ritual. "They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as a hemlock in the furrows of the field." Hosea 10:4. Where is all the Judeo/Christian history is there ever any such oath, except it be pagan or occultic? That is why it is also important to have the powers and principalities, kingdoms, dominions and thrones sealed upon them in the Celestial Sealing room! To make it through the maze! It is not much different than the game of Dungeons and Dragons! They both come from the same pit, having the same author! "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." DEAR READER, This work has been difficult to deal with in parts, I know. Yet the Bible speaks clearly of the danger you face at the LDS Visitors' Center or Temple: "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him...For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 1 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." 2 Cor.11:2-4, 13-15. "But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." Acts 4:19-20. The peace and joy of the Lord cannot be found in the Hidden Things of Darkness! "They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know, that they may be ashamed." Isaiah 44:9 But have faith in God! There is a promise! A hope! A reconciliation! "And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." Ephesians 1:19-23.
TO THE MORMON This information has been given to you in love. We can assure you that it is accurate and honest. The programs, and certainly the people, of the Mormon Church are good. However, you can have the greatest organization, and a sincere faith, but if that organization directs your faith to a "god" who is not the one and only true God of the Bible, but rather a false god who cannot save then after your own death, that organization and that faith will amount to nothing. Take up the challenge! Dare to question and become a genuine seeker of the truth. Were you given the information on the "meat" of Mormonism, which we have outlined here, during the missionary lessons before you joined the church? Were you asked to make an eternal decision, based upon incomplete and inaccurate information? I URGE YOU to call on to the One True God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to reveal Himself to you--and to ask the One True Jesus to apply His sacrifice on the cross to your sins personally! There is no other God and no other way! HOW YOU CAN BE A CHRISTIAN: Any person, right where he or she is, can have a personal relationship with the Living God through Jesus Christ, and the assurance of eternal life, through prayer to the REAL God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; the God of the Bible. 1) Admit that (on your own) you are separated from God by sin, unable to save yourself (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6) 2) Be willing to turn from sin and to let Him change your life (Acts 26:20) 3) Believe that the REAL Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty of your personal sins and will take them away (Romans 5:8-9) and rose again from the dead (Romans 10:9-10). Accept this in faith as a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9). 4) Invite Jesus Christ into your life to be your personal Savior and Lord (Revelations 3:20, John 1:12); then KNOW that you have eternal life for certain (1 John 5:11-13). 5) Read the Bible daily and allow Him to take over the management of your life (Romans 12:1-2). Let His Holy Spirit fill you and lead you daily. Seek out a church of Bible-believing Christians who stand on God's Word and it alone. TO THE CHRISTIAN If you are an ex-Mormon who has never requested that your name be removed from membership, we urge you to do so! By leaving your membership in the church, you are directly aiding Mormonism's missionary efforts, as it claims to be growing rapidly, yet by its own statistics, only about 12% of its membership is active to the point of even being allowed into its temples today.
